Frequently Ask Questions

At Timeless Therapy, we believe in a personalized approach. We understand that each individual’s journey is unique, and our therapy is tailored to meet your specific needs.

Clinical supervision is a formal process where a qualified supervisor provides guidance, support, and feedback to therapists, counselors, or other mental health professionals. It is a requirement for licensure and serves to enhance the quality of client care and the professional development of the supervisee.

At this time, Tym is a supervisor candidate. Much like the full clinical licensure for  therapists/counselors, SC requires a two-year period of supervision candidacy during which time the candidate will maintain a relationship with their own supervisor (supervision for supervisors). Due to this, Tym is currently only able to offer supervsion to LMFT-A’s. Once fully licensed he will be able to supervise any mental health professional associate.
As Tym is still only a supervision candidate, he is only authorized to supervise those within his own field- that of marriage and family therapy so any LMFT-A can receive supervision. Once fully licensed he will be able to supervise any mental health professional associate.
In supervision sessions, you can expect to discuss clinical cases, ethical dilemmas, treatment approaches, and professional development goals. Your supervisor will provide feedback, guidance, and support to help you navigate challenges, improve your clinical skills, and grow professionally.
The state of SC requires 120 hours of clinical supervision over a period of no less than two years for an associate therapist to receive their full licensure. If utilizing a single supervisor, this would require weekly sessions to complete the requirements. Of course your individual  circumstances could necessitate something different and we are more than happy to work within your scheduling concerns.
Yes, SC does allow for supervision to be conducted in-person or remotely via video conferencing platforms. While remote supervision does offer flexibility and accessibility, we do require the majority of sessions to be in-person.
Of course! Individual supervision does allow for 2 people to attend sessions jointly.  If you have a supervision partner, the fee will be split 50/50 between you both!
At this time, we do not, but it is a possibility in the future.
